Hello Friends!

Well, I've got to say an overdue thank you for supporting me last month at the CD release show. We really had a blast, and I'm so glad that so many friends could come and share it with us. Mandy Harvey, Art Heffron, Ian Hutchinson, Lindsay McWilliams, Ariel Amber, Dave Jones, Eron Johnson and Crew, Art and Karen Heffron, Neil Ross, David Rynhart: Sincere thanks to you for your talents.

And serious pat on the back to everyone that stayed for the tango lesson. WOW. What a courageous bunch you were!

The new CD has been getting some good listener feedback, plus I'm about to send it out to several more critics to critique. (Yikes!) All the pre-orders have been mailed, so please give me a shout if the universe hiccuped and you didn't receive your copy yet. You can still order Mirror the Branches, and we'll ship it. Chris carved a stamp that the CDs were embossed with, and I think they turned out pretty darn cool.

If you're a radio DJ and interested in playing some cuts on the air, please let me know and we'll get a copy in the mail for your station. Please send these requests to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

In other news, we've retired Vita, the veggie van, and begun work remodeling a Silver Eagle tour bus dubbed "De Jefes," a Mexican expression we were taught to mean: For the Bosses! (A.k.a. pure luxury.) Yes, we even bought vanity plates!!! Read all about Vita's last tour at the BLOG.

We're aiming for an "Art Nouveau" interior, a la a French Cafe...We started out the remodel by buying some couches from a member of the Denver Mafia (vicious dogs in tow) and after discovering they were too wide to fit through the door, we had to perform couch surgery. Last week, I personally removed at least a thousand staples from the upholstery. So, it's going well so far! :)

Last, but certainly not least, Lindsay McWilliams surprised me by putting together a wonderful music video for "Strange Summer Snow" composed visually of footage from the CD release. I'm so grateful for her creativity and graciousness.

truly yours,

Gabrielle Louise
