The Gabrielle Louise Show

In This Issue:

Thanks to the video direction of Brian Moratto and an all volunteer crew, you can now watch the full Etown Hall CD release show online at my YouTube Channel. Get some popcorn! Featuring myself with my favorite full band and special guests like Darryl Purpose, Jonathan Sadler, and more!

I'm really grateful to be opening for some Joan Osborne Sings the Songs of Bob Dylan" tour dates this summer. The first one is at SOPAC  in South Orange, NJ and will feature myself with Doug Yowell on percussion!

In April I had some big news in my small town Colorado world. I had my very first art show! It's hanging til next week in the Paonia library! It propted me to make an "Art" link on my website where you can now buy prints online! I wrote a little story about each painting. It was fun to put together!

Hello from the Highway

"No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river, and it's not the same man.

Oh man, I love that quote! We're almost to Nashvegas now, two shows deep on the Spring Tour (pronounced T-O-R, remember?) and Mr. Heraclitus couldn't summarize my sentiments more. It doesn't seem to matter how many times I travel this country, no show is ever the same, no human is ever the same, and I am truly never the same.  Almost 32, maybe less than half my lifetime passed, and wondering what America will look like to me when I'm doing this at 70.

This morning me and my two travel companions sat in a diner in somewhere, Oklahoma, and we wrote quietly and quickly in our respective journals. My coffee, sitting full and untouched on the formica table top, jiggled like a threat.

This month hold a lot of exciting opportunities for me to sing my heart out. After five days in Nashville we'll head east through Virginia and up the coast to the NYC area. I have the great fortune to be opening up for Joan Osborne in South Orange Performing Arts Center in South Orange, NJ. The following day, May 20th, is my 32nd birthday. I'll be spending it in Brooklyn at the adorable Jalopy Theater. All the details to your left. :)

If you can't make it out to give us all hugs, you can now watch the entire Etown Hall concert from last winter on youtube! I thought about making a DVD, but I'd like to give this one to you guys, my super loyal fans and friends, as a gift. Thank you for lifting me up the last year! It's seriously because you beautiful humans that I keep singing.

Your friend,

Live from Etown Hall
Watch the Full Concert!
